Civil Construction

Ecopav has a solid track record of over 20 years in the civil construction market, having participated in over 1,000 infrastructure and basic sanitation projects, buildings and architectonically esthetic projects (bridges and overpasses) in Brazil.

We are proud of our achievements in major public and private projects, with different and challenging characteristics.

Below we provide some examples of the diversity, relevance and complexity of these projects:

* Laboratory of Bacterial Vaccines of the Butantã Institute (São Paulo) – A high-technology construction, with “class 10,000” clean rooms.

* Miécimo da Silva Sports Complex, in Campos (Rio de Janeiro) – The most modern sports complex in Latin America, with seating capacity for 6,000 people, central air conditioning and a 92-meter clear span.

* Maximum Security Prison (SP) – Marginal Pinheiros Jail (São Paulo) – built with automatic lockdown and system of cameras for automatic closing of doors, avoiding contact between prisoners and wardens.

* Parque da Juventude, in São Paulo - Cultural, recreational and sporting complex covering 240,000 m2 that replaced the former Carandiru Prison. Ecopav is proud to have built the recreational-sporting space, with sports courts, skateboard, skating and running tracks, and a relaxation-recreational space, with boulevards, bridges and gardens.

* SESC Bertioga, in Bertioga (São Paulo) – Refurbishment of the Pavilion for Guests, whose project was based on sustainable guidelines: use of solar panels, certified wood, draining foundation (which captures and returns rainfall to the soil), natural ventilation to minimize cooling requirements. A project that is testament to our environmental expertise.

Our concern with quality is evident from some of our certifications.

Since 2005, we have been audited annually by ABS Quality Evaluations.
