Transshipment, transport and final disposal of solid waste

Household waste collections are the start of a vast chain: Collection, Transshipment, Transportation, Treatment and Final Disposal of waste.

After being collected at homes and commercial establishments, unused waste must be transported to a landfill.

The transshipment stations are where the waste is transferred from the collection vehicles to large capacity trucks that transport them to their final destination. We work only with trailers equipped with liquid capture tanks, sealed to prevent the leakage of leachate (contaminated liquid) and covered with canvasses to prevent strong winds from disturbing the materials being transported.

Ecopav also has experience in constructing transshipment stations so that collection vehicles can perform the transshipment of waste safely.

When a single company assumes responsibility for all the stages of the urban cleaning process, the City Hall and its citizens are guaranteed a standardized, complete and well-executed service.
